Last year, the girls performed brilliantly in the Arts and Commerce stream, while the boys excelled in the merit list of Science stream in the 12th-grade examination conducted by Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education (HPBOSE). Ashmita Sharma topped the arts stream scoring 96.4 percent. Anil Kumar scored the highest 98.60 percent marks in Science stream. Last year, out of 45 784 registered 30,574 pass out boys, women candidates won. A total of 49,136 male candidates appeared for the examination, out of which 28,375 passed.
