Dhritraj Bastav Kalita from Padum Pukhuri High School in Darang district topped the High School Living Certificate (HSLC) examination, the results of which were declared on Saturday morning. Dhritiraj scored 595 out of 600.

The results were declared at 9 am on Saturday by the Board of Secondary Education, Assam (Seba), as schools remained closed due to Kovind’s medical treatment. The overall passing percentage in the HSLC examination was 64.80 percent from 60.23 percent of the previous year.
The overall passing percentage of HSLC examination was 64.80 with girls (62.91%) as against boys (66.93%). In 2019, the total pass percentage was 60.23. Nalbari district (78.73%) had the highest passing percentage, while Dhubri was the lowest with 44.20.
